What better way to start your ocean rowing journey than signing up for one of our on water taster days?

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming on board 6 potential ocean rowers over two days for a full day out on our R45 trainer boat to get a real feel for life onboard these unique ocean going vessels.

The one day experience covers time on the oars, crew changeovers, a taste of freeze dried expedition food and even 'trialling' the onboard toilet facilities (aka the bucket). The icing on the cake is the opportunity to ask questions you've never dared ask about an ocean crossing.

Typically, our taster days on the R45 comprise a safety briefing, at least 4 hours rowing, lunch at anchor to test out the Jetboil, and rounds off with a short debrief back at the marina. What's not to like?
