With several years of hard work, planning and design, we are mega proud to have launched our brand new RX45 four person rowing boat - the next level up in performance ocean rowing.
The first boat launched is owned by Marduk Atlantic Challenge , who are entered into TWAC 2023, and took her out on the water a couple of weeks ago.
After a weekend session on the boat, Rowing Roy said: "The design, engineering and attention to detail is incredible. She’s a phenomenal boat and I’m really excited to see how she performs on the ocean but it’s clear to see she’s going to be fast!"
Peter Rose of Team Marduk said: “What a boat she is. She is subtly different to the R45, the differences definitely give her a performance feel. Look forward to getting more hours on the water with her and seeing what she and we can do."
From a design point of view, the RX45 is a longer, thinner, faster and lighter carbon fibre version of the R45. Built from infusion and vacuum bagging methods, its thinner, longer and flatter bottom sections will promote its surfing ability more than any other four person boat in the world and has redefined how we build ocean rowing boats with less material consumption and simpler moulding techniques, especially in the rowdeck.
With 15 boats ordered to date, our production team is cracking on with production!
